Cow Flats : Yesterday, Labor Day '06, Brad, Joe, Jerry, and I went for a ride up to Cow Flats. Joe led the ride over the length of Rancheria. I led us down the 155 down to Kernville for breakfast at the Dam Inn restaurant. Following our meal, Joe led us down the 178 into the Canyon where we grabbed a dirt road up to Cow Flats. What a fun road! Very narrow, rock strewn, sandy, and poised over a cliff for most of the way. Brad led most of that. We emptied out onto Breckinridge and hotfooted it home. Joe and Brad found a short-cut, but Jerry and I rode the blacktop the whole way.
